This picture was taken from the house listing and then when we moved in we put in hardwood floors, painted, added wainscotting to the breakfast room and painted the cabinets.
After (in progress)
Then we were able to finally gut the kitchen. We redid the electrical, plumbing, took out a wall, refinished the hardwood floors we put in, painted and installed granite. We still have a LONG way to go.
When we moved in all the walls in the house were the builder grade flat white. I was so tired of all white walls after having lived in apartments for a while. We painted the living room and dining room orange with a faux finish. Hubby installed the trim he made. He built the cabinet that is hanging on the wall for the hamsters we had at the time. Then we repurposed it to hold dishes.
We've painted again, restained the trim hubby made and installed, added some different art that I've made and refinished the furniture. We placed the cabinet that was hanging on the wall on top of the buffet.
The living room was originally builder grade flat white paint. I painted it orange, we replaced the trim, baseboards and refinished the oak floors. After I got tired of the orange I repainted again.
We gutted the bathroom down to the studs and floor joists. We redid the electrical and plumbing then insulated and finished the bathroom. Hubby built the vanity.
